Account information: Name, email address, and avatar when you create an account.

Store data: Products, content, settings, and customizations you create on the Platform.

Transaction data: Purchase records, payment amounts, and customer email addresses. Payment card details are processed and stored by Stripe — shopspace never has access to your card numbers.

Usage data: Pages visited, features used, browser type, and IP address for analytics and service improvement.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and operate the Platform
• To process transactions and send receipts
• To communicate about your account and service updates
• To improve the Platform and develop new features
• To prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Data Sharing

We share data only with:

• Stripe — for payment processing
• Mailgun — for transactional emails
• AWS — for file storage
• Sellers — customer email and name when a purchase is made on their store

We do not share data with advertisers or data brokers.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Transaction records may be retained for legal and accounting purposes as required by law.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access and export your data at any time (Settings → Account → Export Data)
• Correct inaccurate personal data
• Delete your account and associated data
• Object to processing of your data

For EU/EEA residents, these rights are provided under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies. Sellers may configure tracking pixels (Facebook, Google Analytics, TikTok, Pinterest) on their individual storefronts — those are governed by the Seller's own privacy policy.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure password hashing, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

shopspace is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data to us, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
