Best Stan Store Alternatives in 2026
Stan Store, Beacons, Linktree, Gumroad and shopspace compared on what they actually cost, checked against each pricing page in August 2026.
Best Stan Store Alternatives in 2026
Stan Store made the creator storefront normal. One link, courses, bookings and digital products behind it, no website to build. Plenty of people are happy there.
The reason creators go looking for an alternative is almost always the same, and it is not the storefront. It is what a plan costs once you want the things that actually grow a business, and what the platform takes from each sale on the way through.
So this is a comparison of what you pay, checked against each company's own pricing page in August 2026, with the screenshots to prove it.

Stan Store: the baseline
Stan Store runs two plans. Creator is $29 a month, or $300 billed annually. Creator Pro is $99 a month, or $948 annually. Stan takes 0% of your sales on both, so what you keep per sale is genuinely yours minus card processing (Source: https://stan.store/blog/stan-store-pricing/).

The catch is what sits on which plan. Creator gets you the storefront, bookings, courses, subscriptions and lead magnets. Discount codes, upsells and order bumps, payment plans, affiliate management, email automation and broadcasts, and pixel tracking for Meta, Google, Pinterest and TikTok are all Creator Pro (Source: https://stan.store/blog/stan-store-pricing/).
That is the decision most people run into. The moment you want to email your buyers or run a discount, the price of the tool goes from $29 to $99 a month.
Beacons: free until you sell
Beacons has the most generous-looking free plan in the category, and the free plan is where the cost hides. Selling on it carries a 9% seller fee. Getting to 0% means Creator Plus at $30 a month (Source: https://beacons.ai/).

Work out where those cross. At $300 a month in sales, 9% is $27, so free is roughly break-even with the paid plan. At $2,000 a month it is $180 leaving every month, which is six times the subscription you were avoiding.
Free is the right plan for someone who has not sold anything yet. It is the wrong plan the moment it starts working.
Linktree: 0% costs $30
Linktree is four plans: Free, Starter at $6 a month, Pro at $12, and Premium at $30, all billed annually, or $8, $15 and $35 paid monthly.

Read the fee line carefully, because it moves. Starter sells digital products at 9% fees. Pro adds branding removal, custom themes, advanced analytics and mailing list integrations, and says nothing about lowering that fee. Selling at 0% fees appears on Premium, at $30 a month (Source: https://linktr.ee/s/pricing).
So the honest way to describe Linktree is that selling without a cut costs $30 a month, and everything below that is a 9% platform fee on top of your card processing.
Gumroad: no subscription, a real cut
Gumroad charges nothing monthly, which is the whole pitch, and takes 10% plus $0.50 on every sale through your own links. Customers who find you through their Discover marketplace cost 30% (Source: https://gumroad.com/pricing).

For someone selling a couple of things a month, that is a fair trade and the cheapest way to start. For anyone with steady sales it is the most expensive option on this page. Ten percent of $2,000 a month is $200, every month, forever, and it never stops scaling with you.
What this actually costs at $2,000 a month in sales
Same seller, same revenue, five platforms. Platform fees only, card processing is separate and roughly the same everywhere.
| Platform | Monthly plan | Platform fee | Total per month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stan Store Creator | $29 | 0% | $29 |
| Stan Store Creator Pro | $99 | 0% | $99 |
| Beacons free | $0 | 9% ($180) | $180 |
| Beacons Creator Plus | $30 | 0% | $30 |
| Linktree Starter | $6 | 9% ($180) | $186 |
| Linktree Premium | $30 | 0% | $30 |
| Gumroad | $0 | 10% + $0.50 ($200+) | $200+ |
| shopspace Creator | $19 | 0% | $19 |
| shopspace Pro | $39 | 0% | $39 |
The percentage plans look cheap and are not. The subscription plans look expensive and are not. That gap is the whole decision.
Where shopspace fits
shopspace is $19 a month billed yearly, or $29 monthly, for Creator. Pro is $39 billed yearly, or $49 monthly. There is no platform fee on either, only standard card processing.
Two things are worth comparing directly rather than taking our word for.
The first is what one page can sell. Eleven kinds of product: digital downloads, courses with lessons and progress tracking, bookings and coaching calls, memberships, webinars and live events, physical products, bundles, lead magnets, tip jars, affiliate products and plain links. Not a link page with a checkout bolted on, and not a course tool you have to pair with a booking tool.
The second is what sits on the cheaper plan. Email campaigns and sequences, automations on store events, and Instagram DM and comment automation are on Creator at $19. On Stan Store, email automation and broadcasts are Creator Pro at $99 (Source: https://stan.store/blog/stan-store-pricing/).
That is the honest comparison. A creator doing $2,000 a month pays $19 to $39 with shopspace, $99 with Stan Store Creator Pro, and $180 to $200 on the plans that take a percentage.
Which one to pick
If you sell occasionally and want nothing monthly, Gumroad is genuinely the cheapest way to start, right up until it is not.
If you want a link page first and selling second, Linktree does the link page best, and you should plan on $30 a month rather than $6.
If you are already on Stan Store and only use the storefront, $29 is a fair price and there is no reason to move.
If you are on Stan Store and looking at Creator Pro because you want email or upsells, that is the moment to compare properly. The same capabilities are $19 to $39 here, on a page that sells eleven kinds of product.
Every plan on shopspace starts with 14 days free, and there is no platform fee on any of them. Start your store.
